International Women's Day with HOPE

On 6 March 2025, we celebrated the strength and resilience of women for International Women’s Day by hosting a HOPE panel event.

The inspiring discussion featured accomplished women from diverse backgrounds, who shared stories of leadership, overcoming challenges, and fostering positive change.

Attendees gained insight into the power of community support and the importance of creating opportunities for women to thrive. The discussion also underscored the vital role of programs like HOPE and the power of early intervention in protecting children from violence and trauma.

Panellists for the event included Neisha Shepherd (NLS Law), Cathy Harris (Harris Farm Markets), Kim Kelloway (HLB Mann Judd), and Kate Dover (HOPE Program, CatholicCare Sydney).

The event was expertly moderated by television journalist and keynote speaker Emma Rossi.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and supported the event. A special acknowledgment to some of our HOPE practitioners who were able to attend and share their experience—thank you for your dedication in supporting young women and children.
